Product details

This is the Hayward SX210CD1FW top elbow assembly for the S210S side mount sand filter. It is the genuine Hayward service part, supplied complete rather than as loose components.

What it does

The top elbow sits inside the filter tank and carries flow between the valve port and the tank connection. It is one of the few internal parts a side mount filter has, and a cracked or broken elbow shows up as poor filtration or sand carrying through to the pool, because water is finding a shortcut instead of passing through the bed.

Before you order

The source for this part specifies S210S filters built after 1996. Hayward changed internals on this tank over its long production run, so confirm the build date on the tank label before ordering. If your filter predates that change, the elbow for your unit is a different part number.
