The Hayward SX310CD2FWS is the lower elbow assembly with air tube for the S310S filter. It is the genuine Hayward part, supplied complete with the tube rather than as a bare elbow.

What it does

The lower elbow sits inside the tank and steers water flow through the filter. It is not a part anyone sees, which is why a cracked or displaced one usually shows up as poor filtration or odd behaviour at the gauge rather than as an obvious fault.
