Product details

This is the Waterway Plastics 718-3150 wall fitting nut, the threaded retaining nut that holds a wall fitting into the pool or spa wall.

What the nut does

A wall fitting passes through the shell and is clamped in place from behind. The nut is what does the clamping. It carries all the load of that joint, which is why it is usually the first part to fail: plastic threads crack with age, and a nut that was over tightened at installation is already on borrowed time.
