Product details

Pentair 170030 is the genuine air bleed tube assembly for the 240 square foot Clean and Clear Plus cartridge filter. It is the same molded plastic assembly the filter left the factory with.

What it does

Air collects at the top of a cartridge tank every time the system is opened or loses prime. The bleed tube is the path that air takes from inside the tank to the manual air relief valve on the lid. Without it, opening the relief valve does not clear the pocket, and the filter runs loud with poor flow.

Fitment

This is the 240 square foot assembly. It appears in the parts listings for the Clean and Clear Plus as well as the Quantum RPM and Predator cartridge filters. The manual air relief valve itself is a separate part and is not included.
