Product details

The Pentair 190106Z is the genuine replacement air bleeder for EasyClean D.E., Clean and Clear Plus and Quad D.E. filters. It is the factory part, not an aftermarket substitute.

Why the bleeder matters

Air collects at the top of a filter tank every time the system is opened or the water level drops. The bleeder is what lets that air out. With air trapped inside, the filter shows higher pressure than the media warrants, flow drops, and the pool turns over more slowly than it should.

Fitting

It replaces the original bleeder in the same port on the tank, so no adaptation is needed. If yours no longer vents, or will not seal once closed, this is the part to change.
