The Pentair 540023 is a threaded directional eyeball return fitting, dark gray, with a 1-1/2 inch male pipe thread and a 3/4 inch opening.

What it does

A directional eyeball fitting aims the return flow of water into the pool. The eyeball rotates in its housing so the flow direction can be adjusted after installation, which helps even out circulation across the pool surface.

Fit and compatibility

This fitting threads into a 1-1/2 inch male pipe thread connection and has a 3/4 inch opening. Match both the thread size and the opening size against the existing fitting before ordering, since return fittings are made in more than one thread and opening combination.
