Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm Low NOx Pool & Spa Heater | Dual Electronic Ignition | Digital Display | Propane | 200,000 BTU | SR200LP - For indoor or outdoor installations on pools and spas. Features include an LED temperature readout with dual thermostat controls, temperature safety lockout, and 6-position control panel. PMG burner technology requires no outdoor draft hood. Proven Dura-Glas rust-proof construction with plastic manifold and PVC union connections. Heavy-duty unit with cupro-nickel exchanger stands up to the harshest of applications, like low pH, high flow or heavy use.

Is the Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm SR200LP natural gas or propane?
Propane. Pentair's manual lists SR200NA as the natural gas heater and SR200LP as the propane one.
Does the Max-E-Therm SR200LP have a pilot light?
No. Pentair's manual says every Max-E-Therm has hot surface ignition and no pilot, and needs a 120 or 240 VAC supply to run.
What does the Max-E-Therm SR200LP connect to?
2 inch PVC pipe, with the slip unions Pentair ships in the box, and a 120 or 240 VAC supply.
Where is the manual for the Max-E-Therm SR200LP?

Is the Max-E-Therm the same as the MasterTemp?
They are Pentair's two high performance gas heaters, the Max-E-Therm under the Sta-Rite name in its own cabinet. Pentair's ASME brochure and sizing chart cover both, and each has its own manual.
