The Pentair 476081Z is the spark electrodes repair kit for the ETi gas system. It is the genuine Pentair part and it arrives as a kit, so the electrodes go in as a set the way they wear.

What the electrodes do

Spark electrodes sit at the burner and produce the arc that lights the gas. They spend their working life in heat and combustion byproducts, so with time they foul, corrode or crack their ceramic. When that happens the heater still calls for heat and still tries, but the spark no longer reaches the gas cleanly.

When to reach for this kit

A heater that clicks and cycles without lighting, or that lights late and lights rough, is often asking for electrodes rather than a control board or a valve. Electrodes are the cheapest thing in that chain, so they are worth ruling out first.

Before you order
