Product details

The Waterway 310-1140 is a complete 1.5HP wet end for Waterway center discharge spa pumps. It arrives as one assembly, so the water side of the pump is replaced in a single step.

New style, old style

This is the current style wet end, and it remains compatible with the older style center discharge pumps. That matters on spas that have been in service for years, where the original wet end is no longer built but the pump itself is worth keeping.

When to replace the wet end

A cracked housing, a worn seal plate or several tired internal parts at once all point the same way. Buying the pieces separately adds up quickly, and a complete wet end puts every wearing surface back to new at the same time. The motor is not included, so a motor that still starts and runs cool goes straight back on.

Will this new style wet end fit my older pump?
Yes. The new style wet end is still compatible with the older style Waterway center discharge pumps.
Does a motor come with it?
No. This is the wet end only. If the motor still runs well you keep it and bolt the new wet end to it.
What is a wet end?
It is the whole water side of the pump: the housing, the impeller and the seal plate. Everything the water touches, as one assembly.
How do I know I need the wet end and not just an impeller?
If the housing is cracked, the seal plate is chewed up, or several internal parts are worn at once, the complete wet end costs less than buying the pieces one at a time.
