Product details

The Waterway 310-1440 is the complete wet end for the 4HP Executive pump in the 2.5 inch port size, built for a 56 frame motor. It is the genuine Waterway assembly.

What you are replacing

The wet end is everything the water touches: the housing, the seal plate and the impeller. Motors and wet ends fail for different reasons and on different schedules, so a pump with a healthy motor and a cracked or worn water end does not need to be replaced whole. This part number puts a new water end on the motor you already have.

Getting the right one

Executive wet ends are built to match horsepower, port size and motor frame. This one is the 4HP, 2.5 inch, 56 frame combination. Confirm all three against your pump before ordering, since an impeller matched to a different horsepower will not load the motor correctly.

What is a wet end?
It is the water side of the pump: the housing, seal plate, impeller and related parts, everything except the motor. This one is supplied complete.
Which motor does it fit?
A 56 frame motor, at the 4HP rating for the Waterway Executive series.
What port size is this?
2.5 inch. Executive wet ends are also built in other port sizes, so match yours before ordering.
Do I need this or a whole new pump?
If the motor still runs properly and the failure is in the housing, seal plate or impeller, replacing the wet end puts the pump back in service without buying a new motor.
