The Waterway 310-1440 is the complete wet end for the 4HP Executive pump in the 2.5 inch port size, built for a 56 frame motor. It is the genuine Waterway assembly.
What you are replacing
The wet end is everything the water touches: the housing, the seal plate and the impeller. Motors and wet ends fail for different reasons and on different schedules, so a pump with a healthy motor and a cracked or worn water end does not need to be replaced whole. This part number puts a new water end on the motor you already have.
