The Waterway 310-3300 is the high flow diffuser for SVL56 pool pumps. It is the genuine Waterway part.

What the diffuser does

Water leaves an impeller fast and turbulent. The diffuser sits over the impeller and organizes that discharge into the volute so the pump converts speed into pressure. When the diffuser cracks, wears at the sealing face or has its vanes damaged, the pump keeps running and sounding normal while flow and pressure quietly drop.

High flow, specifically

This is the high flow version, not the standard part. Compare against what you remove before ordering. It is a wet end component, so the repair means opening the pump housing rather than touching the motor.

Is a high flow diffuser the same as a standard one?
No. The high flow part is a different component, so match it to what came out of the pump.
