Product details

The Waterway 310-8030 is the 1.5 horsepower impeller for Waterway E-Series center discharge pumps. It is a new OEM Waterway part.

What the impeller does

The impeller is the spinning vaned wheel inside the pump that throws water outward and creates the flow the whole system runs on. Everything downstream, the filter, the heater, the returns, depends on it. It is also the part that quietly wears: grit rounds off the vanes and debris packs into the passages, so the pump keeps running at full speed while moving less and less water.

Matching it correctly

Impellers are horsepower specific. This one is the 1.5 horsepower version for the E-Series center discharge pump, and it is not a substitute for another rating. Check the horsepower on your motor label before you order.

Can I use it on a different horsepower pump?
No. The impeller is matched to the horsepower of the motor. Fitting the wrong one changes the flow the pump produces and loads the motor incorrectly.
