Match the horsepower
Waterway sizes impellers to the pump they serve, so the 2 HP Hi Flo takes this part and the 1-1/2 HP takes a different one. Fitting the wrong impeller changes the flow the pump was designed around and loads the motor in ways it was not rated for. Read the horsepower off the pump label before ordering.
Symptoms of a worn impeller
Low flow with a motor that sounds fine usually points here. Once the strainer basket, the suction lines and the filter are ruled out, look at the impeller for eroded vane edges, cracks, or debris packed into the passages.
Do the job once
Getting an impeller off means pulling the shaft seal, so replace the seal rather than reusing one that has been disturbed. Check the wear ring while the wet end is open, since a scored ring will wear a new impeller quickly.
