Product details

The CMP 25913-204-000 is a three way diverter valve in black CPVC, with a 2 inch socket on one side and a 2.5 inch spigot on the other. It is NSF certified.

What a three way valve does

Turn the handle and the diverter inside moves. Flow goes entirely to one port, entirely to the other, or is split between them at whatever balance the handle is set to. That is how a pad sends water to the pool or the spa, chooses between two returns, or balances suction between skimmer and main drain.

Sizing and material

The 2 inch socket accepts 2 inch pipe inside it. The 2.5 inch spigot is the outside diameter that slips into a 2.5 inch socket, and it will also take a 2 inch fitting over it, which is why this pairing shows up on so many systems. The body is CPVC in black, the usual specification for equipment pad plumbing.

What do the socket and spigot sizes mean?
