Why the brush matters

A robotic cleaner does not simply vacuum. It scrubs, and the brush is what breaks film and fine dirt loose so the machine can pick it up. Once the brush has flattened, glazed over or torn, the cleaner keeps running its pattern and keeps leaving a haze behind, which is why worn brushes get blamed on the filter or the motor.
