The Pentair EQ-500 340030 is the 5 HP, 230 V single phase premium efficiency commercial pump from the EQ Series, supplied with a plastic strainer pot.

Electrical and hydraulic specs

The motor runs on 230 V single phase at 20 A, with a 1.15 service factor for 5.75 SFHP, and it has a NEMA rated enclosure and a NEMA Premium grade efficiency motor. Plumbing is by ANSI flange, 6 in. on the suction side and 4 in. on the discharge side. The pump has a closed impeller and a close coupled design, and the assembled pump measures 43.59 in. long and 19 in. wide.

Construction

EQ Series pumps are non-corrosive, all plastic pumps made for commercial pool and water applications. The strainer pot has a cam and ramp see-thru lid and holds a hair and lint strainer. The pump is self-priming under NSF standards and NSF listed.

The EQ Series is offered in many configurations, including three phase and waterfall models and versions without a strainer. This listing is the single phase model with strainer. It is a drop-in replacement for the C Series pump and is compatible with Acu Drive XS variable frequency drives.
