Product details

The Pentair 340034 is the EQ1000, the 10 horsepower model in the EQ Series of premium efficient commercial pumps. It is supplied with the strainer pot, so the basket housing that catches debris ahead of the impeller comes as part of the unit.

Power requirements

This is a three phase pump for a 208-230/460 V supply. Current draw is 27/26.2 A on the low voltage connection and 13.1 A at 460 V. Confirm the service at the site before ordering, because three phase power is a commercial supply and the pump cannot be run from a standard residential panel.

Where it belongs

Commercial pools, where turnover requirements are high and the pump runs most of the day. On a duty cycle like that, a premium efficient motor is the difference between a reasonable power bill and an unreasonable one.
