The Hayward CCX1000C is the replacement filter lid with its locking ring for the 100 sq ft XStream cartridge filter, the CC1000. It is the genuine Hayward part.
What it replaces
The lid and lock ring are what hold pressure at the top of the tank. Between sun, chemicals and being taken off for every cartridge clean, they are the parts most likely to crack or distort over the years. When they do, the filter weeps at the seam under pressure and a new o-ring on a tired lid does not stop it.
Getting the right one
Hayward lists the XStream lids by filter size. This is the 100 sq ft lid, so check the size on your tank label before ordering; the larger XStream models use their own lid part numbers.
