Product details

The Hayward CX200B is the genuine replacement filter head assembly for the SwimClear C200S cartridge filter. When the original head cracks, warps or will no longer hold a seal, this is the OEM part that puts the filter back in service without changing anything else on the pad.

Fit

The CX200B is made for the SwimClear C200S. It is the complete head, so it sets straight onto the tank body and clamps down as the original did.

Before you order

Hayward no longer supplies this head in tan; the current color is what ships. While the filter is open, it is worth fitting a fresh lid o-ring so the new head seals cleanly the first time it is pressurized.

Which filter does the CX200B fit?
It is the filter head assembly for the Hayward SwimClear C200S cartridge filter.
Is this the tan head?
No. Hayward no longer offers the tan version, so the head ships in the current color.
Should I replace the o-ring at the same time?
It is a good idea. The lid o-ring for the SwimClear C100S, C150S and C200S is a separate part and is inexpensive compared with chasing a leak after the new head is on.
Is this the whole filter?
No. This is the head only. The C200S filter itself, the cartridge and the tank body are separate items.
