Product details

The Hayward CX150B is the genuine filter head assembly for the SwimClear C150S cartridge filter. When the head on a C150S cracks or the threads and ports are past saving, this assembly replaces it on the existing tank body rather than replacing the whole filter.

Fit

It is the head for the C150S specifically, the 150 sq ft model in the SwimClear C100S, C150S and C200S family. Confirm the model on your filter label before ordering, since the other two sizes carry their own part numbers.

While the head is off

The lid o-ring and the air relief assembly are separate Hayward parts for this filter. Both are easy to inspect once the head is removed, and replacing a tired o-ring at the same time saves opening the filter twice.

The CX150B is listed for the C150S. The C100S and C200S are different tank sizes, so confirm the part number for those models before ordering.
Should I replace the lid o-ring at the same time?
