Product details

The Hayward SX244PX is the genuine new style bulkhead fitting for Hayward Pro and Pro Plus sand filters. It replaces the earlier SX244P and fits the S210S, S244S, S310S, S311SX, S311SXV and S360SX.

What it does

The bulkhead fitting is the pass through in the tank wall that connects the filter internals to the side mount valve. When it cracks or the sealing surface wears, the filter weeps at the tank, and no amount of tightening the valve unions will stop it.

Before you order

Confirm your filter is one of the six models listed. This is the fitting only; the bulkhead o-ring and spacer are separate parts, and replacing the o-ring at the same time gives you a fresh seal on both sides of the tank wall.
