Product details

The Pentair IntelliFlo3 VSF is the current generation of the IntelliFlo variable speed pump. This listing is part 011068, the 1.5 HP model rated for 115 or 208-230 volts, supplied with the touchscreen and the I/O board.

Speed and flow

An ordinary variable speed pump holds an rpm. A VSF pump holds a flow rate: built in sensorless flow control watches the load and adjusts speed on its own, so a filter that has loaded up after a storm does not quietly starve the heater, the salt cell or the cleaner. Keeping flow steady is also what keeps the water clear without anyone touching the pad.

Control

Everything is programmed from the touchscreen on the pump itself, so a straightforward installation does not need a wall controller. The I/O board comes fitted on this version.

Sizing

This is the 1.5 HP version. Match the pump to the plumbing and to the flow that your filter, heater and cleaner actually need, and have the electrical supply confirmed before installation.

What does VSF mean?
