Product details

The Pentair IntelliFlo3 VSF is the current generation of the IntelliFlo variable speed pump. This is the 3 total HP model, part 011075, for a 208-230V supply. Where an ordinary variable speed pump holds a motor speed, the IntelliFlo3 can also hold a flow rate: its built in sensorless flow control works out how much water is moving and adjusts itself to keep the flow you asked for.

Why flow control matters

Filters, heaters and chlorinators are all sized around a flow rate, not a motor speed. As the filter loads up, a speed controlled pump quietly delivers less water. A flow controlled pump compensates, so the equipment downstream keeps doing its job and the pool stays clear without anyone adjusting the schedule.

What does VSF mean?
Variable speed and flow. You can run it at a set speed like any variable speed pump, or set a flow rate and let the sensorless flow control hold it.
Does it need a flow meter?
No. The flow control is sensorless: the drive calculates flow internally rather than reading an external sensor.
What voltage does it take?
208-230V. Have the circuit and breaker checked against the installation manual before the pump goes in.
Can I add a touchscreen?
