This is the genuine Pentair 155709 pump to filter connection assembly for the Sand Dollar above ground filter system. It is the piece of plumbing that carries water from the Dynamo pump discharge across to the filter inlet.

What does this assembly actually do?
It is the connection between the pump discharge and the filter inlet on an above ground Sand Dollar system, so filtered water has a proper path from the Dynamo pump into the tank.
Is this for the SD35 or the SD20?
The source is not consistent on that point. The product title and description call it the Dynamo to SD35 connection, while the original page address refers to SD20. Check your tank model before ordering, and ask us if you are unsure.
Which one do I need for a larger tank?
