Product details

The Pentair 190035 is the genuine OEM standpipe assembly for the 36 square foot PacFab FNS Plus DE filter. It is the same assembly the filter was built with.

What the standpipe does

Inside a DE filter the standpipe sits at the center of the tank and the grid assembly is built around it. Water that has passed through the DE coated grids collects there and leaves through the outlet. If the pipe cracks or splits, water finds a shortcut past the grids, and the first thing the owner sees is DE coming back into the pool.

Before you order

Match the square footage. This assembly is for the 36 square foot FNS Plus, and the other tank sizes in the family use their own standpipe. Grids and the top manifold are ordered separately, and it is worth inspecting both while the tank is open.
