Product details
The Stenner QP500-1 is the QuickPro roller assembly for Classic, SVP and M128 series peristaltic chemical feed pumps.
What it does
A peristaltic pump has no impeller and no seals in the chemical path. A rotor carries rollers that squeeze a flexible tube against the pump housing, and that travelling pinch is what pushes chemical through. Everything the pump delivers depends on those rollers closing the tube completely.
When to change it
Rollers are a wear part. As they age they stop compressing the tube fully and part of every rotation leaks back past the pinch, so the pump keeps turning while the feed rate quietly falls. If the tube is intact and the suction line is clear but output is down, the rollers are the place to look. They are commonly replaced alongside the pump tube, since both wear on a similar schedule.

What does the roller assembly do?
A peristaltic pump has no impeller. Rollers on a rotor squeeze a flexible tube against the housing and push chemical along it, so the rollers are what actually creates the feed.
Why has my feed rate dropped?
If the tube is sound and the suction line is clear, worn rollers are the common cause. They stop pinching the tube completely and some of each stroke leaks back.
Do I replace the tube at the same time?
Rollers and tube are the two wear items in these pumps and they wear together, so most people change both in one service.
