The Hayward W3H150FDP is a Universal H-Series gas pool and spa heater, set up for propane, with a 150,000 BTU heating input and a Low NOx, induced draft design.

The Universal H-Series

Hayward built this line around efficiency, performance and installation flexibility, with the service professional in mind. It is designed to adapt to a wide range of existing equipment pads rather than forcing the plumbing to be rebuilt around it.

Sizing and fuel

This is the 150,000 BTU model, the smallest in the range, so it suits smaller pools and spa only installations. It is the propane version; if your supply is natural gas you need the natural gas part number instead. Confirm your local Low NOx requirements before you order.

Installation

The heater ships by freight. Gas and electrical connections should be made by a licensed installer to code.

Is this the propane or natural gas model?
Propane. Hayward part W3H150FDP is the LP version. The natural gas heater in the same size is a separate part number.
How big is it?
150,000 BTU heating input, the smallest of the Universal H-Series sizes.
What does Low NOx mean?
It is a lower emission burner design. Some air quality districts require a Low NOx heater, so check your local rules before choosing a heater.
How does it ship?
