Hayward Bulkhead Fitting for S200 and S240 Sand Filters

The Hayward SX200D is the bulkhead fitting for the S200 and S240 side mount sand filters. It is the connection that passes through the tank wall and joins the filter to the multiport valve plumbing.

When to replace it

Look at it whenever the tank is weeping at the port and a new o-ring has not cured it. A fitting that has cracked, gone brittle in the sun or lost its threads will keep leaking no matter how many o-rings go in. This is the genuine Hayward part, so it matches the tank opening and the valve connection exactly.

Order the o-ring too

The bulkhead o-ring is sold separately. Fit a new one whenever the fitting is removed.
