Product details

The Pentair 355317 is the mounting plate gasket for high pressure pool pumps in the 3/4 HP to 3 HP full rated range, which is the same as 1 HP to 2.5 HP up rated. It is the genuine Pentair part.

Where it sits

The mounting plate is the wall between the motor and the wet end. This gasket seals that joint. When it hardens, cracks or takes a permanent set, the pump weeps at the seam and can lose prime, and no amount of tightening brings the seal back.
