The Pentair 744000350 is the 10 ft ORP sensor cable for the IntelliChem chemical controller. It is the genuine Pentair part.
What it does
IntelliChem decides when to feed sanitizer from what the ORP probe reports, and the cable is the path that reading travels. A cut, chafed or corroded cable produces drifting or jumping numbers that look for all the world like a dying probe, and the controller then doses on bad information.
Before you replace the sensor
Check the cable and its connector first. It is the cheaper part and the more common failure. This listing is the cable alone, at the standard 10 ft length, for installations where the ORP sensor itself is still reading well.

How long is the cable?
10 feet.
Does the ORP sensor come with it?
No. This is the cable on its own. The IntelliChem ORP sensor is a separate Pentair part.
Is it for the pH probe as well?
No. This is the ORP sensor cable. The pH sensor has its own connection.
My ORP readings jump around. Is the cable the problem?
It can be. A cut, chafed or corroded sensor cable produces erratic readings that look exactly like a failing probe, so check the cable and its connector before replacing the sensor.
