The Pentair 744000350 is the 10 ft ORP sensor cable for the IntelliChem chemical controller. It is the genuine Pentair part.
What it does
IntelliChem decides when to feed sanitizer from what the ORP probe reports, and the cable is the path that reading travels. A cut, chafed or corroded cable produces drifting or jumping numbers that look for all the world like a dying probe, and the controller then doses on bad information.
