Product details

The Pentair EQKT1500 is a 15 HP commercial pool pump supplied with a strainer, running on three phase 208-230/460V power with a NEMA rated TEFC motor. It carries Pentair part number 340607 and is finished in black.

Scale

This is a commercial circulation pump. At 15 HP it belongs on large commercial water, waterparks and high flow features, not on a residential pad. The electrical service, the plumbing and the pad all need to be specified for it.

Motor construction

TEFC stands for totally enclosed fan cooled. The motor is sealed from the surrounding air and cooled externally, which is the construction wanted in a wet or dusty pump room where an open drip proof motor would draw grit through the windings.
