Product details

The Pentair 273064 is the position bracket for the 2 in. Pentair push-pull slide valve, molded in polycarbonate. It is the genuine Pentair part.

What it does

A push-pull valve moves between filter and backwash by sliding the stem in and out. The position bracket is what tells the handle where those stops are and holds it there. When the bracket cracks or goes missing, the handle no longer indexes, and a valve that will not hold its position is a valve that cannot be trusted to stay in filter.

Before you order

Push-pull valves have been built in more than one version over the years. Compare the bracket against the one on your valve, since a small difference in the bracket will show up as a handle that does not seat.
