The CMP 25357-600-000 is a heavy duty top manifold assembly for Pentair FNS Plus DE swimming pool filters. It is a CMP built replacement for the OEM manifold, part number 59023700, and is also cross referenced as 192173.
What the top manifold does
In an FNS Plus, the DE grids hang from the top manifold and all the filtered water leaves the tank through it. When the manifold cracks or the grid ports wear, DE gets past the grids and back into the pool, and the filter never quite clears the water.
Before you order
This is the manifold assembly on its own. Grids, the standpipe and the clamp hardware are separate parts, so open the tank and check the grids while the manifold is out. If they are torn or thin, replacing them at the same time saves a second teardown.
