What it does

A pump lid clamp uses a band around the pump lid and a T-bolt to draw that band tight, sealing the lid against the pump housing so the pump can hold prime. The 98206600 is the metal T-bolt that performs this job on the Americana pump, working together with the clamp band and its fastener to keep even pressure on the lid seal.
