Product details

The Jacuzzi 39-2626-05RKIT is the replacement key cover assembly for the DVK-7 and DVK-7C backwash dial valves. It is supplied complete as a kit.

What it replaces

The cover sits on top of the dial valve and carries the handle. Every backwash cycle puts load through it, and it is one of the parts that wears or cracks first on a valve that is otherwise still serviceable. Fitting the kit is a far smaller job than replacing the whole valve and repiping the connections.

Part number notes

The catalog writes this part three ways: 39-2626-05RKIT, 39262605RKIT and 39262605R. They are the same kit, listed with and without the hyphens and the KIT suffix. The brand is recorded in places as Jacuzzi Bros, which is the same manufacturer.

Questions and answers

What people ask about this product, answered by our pool techs.

Which valves does this fit?
The Jacuzzi DVK-7 and DVK-7C backwash dial valves.
Is it just the cover or the whole assembly?
It is the complete key cover assembly, supplied as a kit.
Which part number is correct?
The source writes it three ways: 39-2626-05RKIT, 39262605RKIT and 39262605R. They refer to the same kit, with and without the punctuation and the KIT suffix.
Do I need the whole valve instead?
Not necessarily. If the body and internals are sound and the failure is at the cover, this kit is the repair. A complete DVK-7 valve is a separate item.
