Product details

The Pentair 074564Z is the almond seal plate for WhisperFlo, IntelliFlo and IntelliFlo VS+SVRS pumps. It is the genuine Pentair part and replaces the older number 074564.

What it does

The seal plate closes the back of the volute and carries the mechanical shaft seal. When the plate is cracked, pitted or warped, the seal cannot hold and the pump drips behind the impeller no matter how many seals you put in. Replacing the plate fixes the leak at its source.

Before you order

This is the plate only. Plan on a new shaft seal and a new seal plate gasket at the same time; both are separate Pentair parts. The finish is almond, to match the almond WhisperFlo and IntelliFlo housings.

Which pumps does it fit?
Pentair WhisperFlo, IntelliFlo and IntelliFlo VS+SVRS pumps.
My old plate is 074564. Is this the right one?
Yes. 074564Z replaces 074564.
Does it include the shaft seal or gasket?
No. This is the seal plate on its own. The mechanical shaft seal and the seal plate gasket are separate parts, and it is good practice to fit new ones when the plate comes off.
Why would the seal plate need replacing?
The plate is where the shaft seal seats. If it is cracked, pitted or warped, a new seal will not hold and the pump will keep dripping at the back of the volute.
