⌄The Hayward W3SP2603VSP is the variable speed version of the Super Pump, rated at 1.65 total horsepower on 230V. It carries a Weighted Energy Factor of 9.3, which is the measure that drives energy rebates and, more to the point, lower monthly power bills.
Efficient and quiet
The motor is a permanent magnet, totally enclosed fan cooled design. Running it at low speed for filtration and stepping up only for cleaning or heating cuts consumption sharply compared with a single speed pump, and at low speed it is quiet enough to disappear on a residential pad.
Programmable control
The touchpad on top of the pump holds speed schedules for the day. It rotates to four positions to suit the plumbing layout, or comes off and mounts on a wall where it is easier to reach.
Plays well with automation
The pump runs standalone, connects to Hayward automation, or works with other control systems through relay control, so it fits an existing pad without a controller change.
