Product details

The SuperPro 25305-131-000 is a replacement impeller for the 3 HP WhisperFlo pump. It is listed as a substitute for impeller part number 073131.

Matching the horsepower

The impeller is what sets a pump apart from the same housing at a different rating. Each horsepower gets its own impeller, so the part has to match the motor you have. This one is the 3 HP size. Read the horsepower off the motor label before ordering rather than going by the pump body.

When to replace it

Weak returns, a pump that primes and runs but moves little water, or visible chipping on the vanes all point at the impeller. Debris that gets past the strainer basket wears the vanes down over time, and once the profile is gone the pump cannot make its rated flow no matter how clean the filter is.
