Product details

The Hayward SPX1580AAT is the pump housing with external union threads for the Power-Flo LX. It is the genuine Hayward part, molded in plastic to the original dimensions.

Union threads

The external threading on the ports is what union connectors screw onto, which is what makes the pump serviceable without cutting pipe. If you are replacing a housing, make sure the one coming out has the same external thread arrangement, because Hayward builds housings both ways.
