The Hayward SPX4000DLT is the genuine strainer cover kit for the NorthStar pump. It is supplied as a kit with the lid, the lock ring and the o-ring, and the lid measures 9-5/8 inches across the outside diameter.

Check the fitment

Why the whole kit

Why will my pump not hold prime?
Air is the usual cause, and the strainer lid is the first place to look. A hazed or cracked lid, a stretched lock ring or a hardened o-ring all let air past and the pump loses prime.
