Product details
The Hayward SPX2715CM is the 2 HP impeller for the Max-Flo II pump. It is the genuine Hayward part.
What the impeller does
The impeller is the piece that actually moves the water. It spins inside the volute and converts motor speed into flow, which means everything downstream depends on it: skimmer suction, filter turnover, heater flow and how well the cleaner drives. A blocked eye or a set of worn, thinned vanes shows up as a pump that runs quietly and normally while the pool circulates poorly.
Getting the right one
Hayward impellers are horsepower specific and the part numbers differ only by a suffix, so read the number stamped on the impeller you are taking out. This is the 2 HP part. It ships as the impeller alone, so order a shaft seal at the same time if you are going to have the pump apart.
