Check the model, not just the horsepower
Hayward calls this one out for the SP1520UN LX specifically. Power-Flo pumps of the same nominal horsepower were built with different impellers over the years, and fitting the wrong one either will not seat or changes the pump curve. Read the model number off the pump label and the number stamped on the impeller you are removing, and match both.
Why replace an impeller
The impeller sets the flow. When the eye packs with debris or the vanes wear thin, the motor sounds normal and the pump primes, but the returns go soft, the skimmer loses its pull and the filter no longer turns the water over. Once you have ruled out a dirty filter and a full basket, the impeller is the next thing to look at.
This is the impeller alone. Order a shaft seal at the same time if the pump is coming apart.
